Anxiety & Worry

You know that tension in your body that shows up when you worry? Anxiety has a way of making you feel like you have to hurry, take immediate action, do something to make the worry stop, as though that is the only solution. But, mantras like “Just do more” or “buck up” usually aren’t that helpful and perpetuate the cycle of anxiety. Being able to mindfully choose the response you engage when you feel wound up can feel like you’re actually helping yourself!
